WiTech Hackathon
WICS UCT would love to present to you the Womxn in Technology (WiTech) Hackathon, a virtual inter-varsity hackathon exclusively for womxn!
The hackathon will take place 2nd – 3rd October 2020 and participants will have 24 hours to create a solution to a problem statement that will be released at the beginning of the event.
Teams must be made up of 2 – 4 students in any year of study from the same university.
The participating universities are:
- University of Cape Town
- University of Western Cape
- Stellenbosch University and
- University of KwaZulu-Natal
We will feed you!Â
We will be providing UberEats Meal Vouchers for all participants
Winners Prizes
The prizes will be a combination of Takealot vouchers and other gadgets, roughly to the values of:
- 1st Prize: R 1000+ per team member
- 2nd Prize: R 750+ per team member
- 3rd Prize: R 500+ per team member
